We shot this in 90 minutes as the sun sunk below the horizon. There were new friends and an old friend who was about to leave us for the greener pastures of Alaska. There were sandwiches and an impromptu picnic. There were photos and undocumented dance parties.
We get a lot of shit about being fucking hipsters but a lot of love about what fun it all looked like. I’m not convinced we’re fucking hipsters but I can assure you it was just as much fun as it looked.
And then…
“90 minutes of sunset, then off to your show down the street. You in?”
This was our pitch to Phoenix before a show they had in New York. We had a contact at Glass Records, their label. We stayed up all night burning dvds. We showed up with said dvd. We thought we were just going to drop it off with the receptionist. No, no, Daniel Glass, the man himself came to get the dvd, and wanted to watch it immediately!
So there we were, with a roomful of employees, a tv and our dvd. They all knew our video and loved it. They loved the pitch. Daniel Glass said he would see what he could do and then told us to keep in touch.
Yes, we screamed like we were on a roller coaster when we got on the elevator.

Wow. This video really blew me away. So much so that i’ve been watching it consistently for a few days now. What really touches me is the pure joy and exuberance you all emit during it. It also proves that love is a truly universal emotion, since the first time i watched this video i immediately wanted to join you guys up there, and wished i knew you all personally. So thank you very much for making this video, and consider this my plea for another.
All the best
Get back to me

Hello from Australia!!!
Such an AMAZING video! I first saw this video recently when a very close friend of mine (Kathryn) sent me the link. Immediately it made all my worries fade away, and has since become a talking point quite commonly in our lengthy discussions into the nights! We both love it and wish to thankyou for creating an amazing piece of art that is truly inspiring for both of us!
On that note, later this month I am making a trip to New York City from my humble abode in Wollongong, Australia. Kathryn keeps reminding me that I must partake in a little dancing Brat Pack Mashup Style, which is to be filmed when in the Big Apple. Ofcourse I will do this, there is no-one that could stop me … but It might be nice to have a little help??? It would truly mean so much to us, especially as Kathryn is going through a rough patch that no-one ever should have to go through!
